ich habe ganz einfach pauschal diese umfrage beantwortet und dann natürlich „Nein“ gegklickt. Weil ich es mir eben nicht vorstellen kann dafür zu zahlen!

ABER! Danach habe ich die Seite mal besucht und auch gesehen, was man bekommt.
Ich denke, diese Surfbox, die echt geil ist, sollte vielmehr in den Vordergrund Eurer Marketingaktivitäten gerückt werden. In Zusammenhang mit den individuellen Erinnerungen ist es „mehr“, als man sonst bekommt (lieblose dvd mit meiner Fresse vorne druff).
Die Box macht sich nicht nur gut aufm klo, sondern ganz vorne im Wohnzimmer-Regal!

Also, mehr das Alleinstellungsmerkmal suchen und herausstellen.

Hi

I read your message and I am glad to hear, that you changed your mind after you have seen what you would get.

Its not only the box, its the full package, that is different to what you have.

We all know the problem of making thousands of (propably bad) photos that we never print or even make a digital assortment and mostly never watch again, because who wants to see 1000 photos ?

With Video its even more the problem. If you dont edit videos, they are nearly useless and get lost on some harddrives or dvds.

To make a good quality video of surfing, you need a really good tripod and tele lense. If you dont have it… forget it… you see a little point moving on your video.

i voted „yes“. However, I give you some constructive feedback.

I think your prices are too low. You charge 70 bucks for 2 hours and give away all your high-res images (un-edited I guess). I would absolutely love this, bc I can edit images myself … of cause thats just me.

However, if I pay, I would expect a bit higher quality. Have a look at this website … its just an example:

I know the comparison is not 100% fair, bc these are all quite photoshopped. But I guess you get the idea where I am coming from and what clients might expect.

Also in my opinion most photos on your website are under-exposed. Many shots are taken into the light (which is not the best set-up; who wants 50 silhouettes) and I also would recommend a much bigger/ heavier tripod for your video. The demo video has quite a few very shakey scenes – the editing is quite good.

Black text on dark blue (FAQ) is hard to read – and does not match the rest of the page. Also it took me a moment to find the scroll bar in FAQ (black/small). The green font in the „Photoshop“ section is a different colour than the bright green you use elsewhere (seems to be a different font too?). Its not easy to read on the blue. I would keep things consistent, use the white/ bright green font as elsewhere. Also – at least in my browser – your webpage requires quite a bit of up and down scrolling in all sections.

In the profile picture of „André Herrmann“ the horizon „cuts off“ his head (Kill Bill 1 finale ;-)). This is a big no-no for a pro photog. Bring the horizon above his head or under his shoulder …. or if you want to be funny, let the horizon shoot straight through his eyes or ears … no don’t do that, but it explains the concept 😉 Also as a profile pic I would choose (my opinion!) something „more clean / less creative/ more bright“ or get a shot of yourself w/ that 600mm lens ….

Your right, the comparison is not fair, because the photos on the other side are maybe a selection and not put into a shop a view hours after shooting on the beach. The photos I put in the „photoshop“ are from free photosessions on the beach, without longer gradings and stuff.

The website is still in construction and will be updated from time to time, so thanks on your response. I will change the portrait photo too, when I have a new nice one 😉

So… hope to get more and more response to offer the service thats needed.

For those of you that think, they are not good enough….

I guess that doesnt matter. Even when you are a bloody beginner,
you gonna learn a lot by the video. You can analyse and talk to others about your mistakes.

And its still fun to see 🙂
And when you are better in a view years, you will enjoy watching it too.
