ich war also im Oktober auf Fuerte, hier meine Erfahrungen:

Billabong Camp:
Weiß ich nicht, habe nur mal vorbeigeschaut, aber war nicht zum Surfen dort. Die
Zimmer sahen aber ganz gut aus.

Hahaa von wegen Camp Ich hatte es mir in Unwissenheit vorher rausgesucht und bin also nachdem ich in Corralejo ankam zu dem Shop von denen gelaufen. Der Inhaber dort begrüßte mich und meinte es käme gleich jemand, der mich abholt. Leider kam eine etwas irritiert dreinblickende Frau mit nem Fahrrad an, joa da hab ich dann mein Gepäck durch den halben Ort getragen und sie war auf dem Weg zum Haus noch schnell Tomaten einkaufen, ja gut. Die Unterkunft bestand aus einem Reihenhaus, dass mit Stockbetten ausgestattet war. Es waren bereits ca. 10 Leute anwesend, 7 Italiener, ein Holländer und eine Schottin, die sich aber größtenteils untereinander nicht kannten, da andauernd LEute ein- und ausgingen. Es gab auch keine Schlüßel, weder für die HAustür noch für die Zimmer….a little bit strange, nur einen einzigen Haustürschlüßel der draußen auf der Terasse versteckt liegt.
Man fühlte sich wirklich ziemlich allein gelassen mit allem, die ganze Sachhe kam mir ziemlich planlos und unorganisiert vor. Deswegen habe ich auch am nächsten Tag, nach dem Surfen, das erstaunlicherweise recht cool war, die Zelte abgebrochen und mir eine anderes Camp gesucht. Wahrscheinlich auch mit deswegen, weil die Italiener die ganze Nacht durchs Haus gerannt sind und rumgeschrien haben wie kleine #Kinder….nee danke.

Ich entschied mich schließlich dazu, zur Quicksilver Surfschule zu gehen. Dort habe ich anfangs bereits überlegt zu buchen, aber der Preis hat mich dann doch abgeschreckt…Aber ich kann nur raten:

Kurz: Die 4 Tage waren toll! Surfcamp wie man es sich wünscht. Ich wurde total freundlich von der netten österreichischen Mitarbeiterin empfangen, die etwas verwundert war, dass ich einfach so in Corralejo bei ihnen im Laden aufgetaucht bin Und von da an hat es sich wie Urlaub angefühlt. Das ganze Team war cool drauf, die Unterkunft (Casa MArco) ist echt schön und beim Surfen geben sie sich Mühe dass man was lernt und Spaß an der Sache hat. Abends gingen wir zusammen in die Boardrider’s Bar und zum Grillen.
