Während meiner Reise durch Australien habe ich in Lennox Head (nähe ByronBay) den Surfcoach „Dave Sharp“ kennen gelernt.
Während meines vorerst zweitägigen Aufenthalts sind wir gute Freunde geworden und wir sind in Kontakt geblieben. In meinem letzten Monat in Australien, habe ich mich entschieden zurück nach Lennox Head zu reisen und die restlichen Wochen zu surfen.

Ok, warum das ganze hier überhaupt schreiben:

Dave Sharp ist eine der inspirierendsten Personen die ich je getroffen habe und er plant „Into the Wild“ zu gehen. Dabei werden ihn nur sein Surfboard und eine Kamera begleiten.

„With a solar powered camera, my 11ft longboard and my passion for our community I plan to ‚Walk Away‘ into a remote, wilderness destination to help protect our beautiful Village Lennox Head.
This journey will teach me to appreciate the life I have on the east coast of Australia ( lennox head) and why it’s important for all of us to protect and respect mother earth !
So many things we take for granted and pretend not to see in this world but through community awareness and educational programs such as Walk Away we can all tell our story and help mother earth 🙂
