Between end of April and beginning of May we end our trip from LA to Costa Rica/Panama and we’re looking to sell our 4runner to somebody going back up or planning to travel through Central America. The car has US/California plates and currently we are not planning to import it to Costa Rica due to the costs and bureaucracy involved. Changing the title is possible through a local lawyer, so the car will be legally yours, but it can’t remain in the country for more than 90 consecutive days. We have been travelling with it from Los Angeles through Baja, Mainland, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador and Nicaragua. It is the perfect vehicle for surfers and adventures types, as it can go (almost) everywhere. The car comes with basic camping equipment (tent, mattress, stove, lamp, chairs, guide books, etc.).

Registered until 12/12, automatic trans , 4×4, power steering, air con, good tires (Falken), 3l engine, radio/cd, roof rack.
The car has ~146 000 miles, but the engine was reconditioned less than 6 000 miles ago, it has been taken care of (oil changes every 3000 miles), runs beautiful and never let us stranded. Took us to a lot of great places for surfing and camping.
